Relocating with your pet to China

Chinese import requirements: 

• Microchip (ISO compliant)

• Valid Rabies vaccination valid for more than 21 days prior to export

• Pre-export quarantine for 30 days

• Treatment for Leptospirosis within the 30 days prior to export 

• Internal and external parasite treatment within the 30 days prior to export 

• Export Health Certificate signed by an Official Veterinarian (OV)

While not mandatory, we recommend your animal receive annual vaccinations prior to travel.

Requirements may vary depending on destination airport. Please check with the relevant import authorities. If a derogation is required, this will incur a £50 administration fee.
